I miss the Kodak Instamatic
Say cheese if you remember those flash cubes, and the burning chemical smell they produced.
Mmmm. I love that smell. I kind of miss going to the store to pick up my prints and then sitting in the car and looking through them a million times, fighting over them with my sister....we actually had a fotomat in our town for a while...a drive up place.
These paintings give me a chance to experiment with combining text and images, something I don't usually do as a photographer.
