When I had these paintings up at the Lexington Club in San Francisco last may, it was the bartender that decided to buy this painting. Not surprising it would strike a chord in her line of work.
This blog highlights original acrylic paintings on paper bag pieces. Some of the things I have been thinking about while making these paintings include recycling commonly found resources, as well as keeping art making affordable

Betsy,
I've always found this painting...uncomfortable. Oh yeah...we've all done that and then fretted about it later. I love these paintings. I especially like the discomfort.
This painting makes me go into a full-body cringe and want to crawl inside a large paper bag thinking about all the times I've done this
