I just found out about another artist painting on paper bags named
Chris Crites! He currently has a show up in Seattle of gun portraits. His other paintings feature old-fashioned mug shots, and contemporary portraits.
Little does Chris Crites know, I also have a "gun portrait" in my collection, which will be posted here soon.

ok, ok...i never posted the gun portrait of mine...friends have been afraid of the violent associations. I think they don't want to imagine me with any kind of revenge fantasies.
I had the same sort of response when I was working on the hate mail book a few years back. People that I asked would tell me that "hate" was a bad word, or that they never felt hate. (I didn't believe them. In fact, I felt sorry for them to have never lost themselves in this extreme and brilliant emotion, one that can also be obsessively creative in its very destruction).
